1.花園主題--Where's Mrs Ladybird?

想知道花園裡藏了那些昆蟲嗎?那你可以先和孩子共讀這本。

拿到書籍，還沒翻開內頁，家長就可以指著瓢蟲說：

"This is Mrs. Ladybird. ",

"Say Hello to Mrs. Ladybird. "

"Can you see the flowers?"

"How many flowers can you see?"

"What colors are the flowers?"

"Do you want to put your finger into the little circle/hole on the upper right corner?"
(你要不要把手指頭放在右上角的小圓圈/小洞裡?)

"Now Let's open the book."

 

除了尋找主角毛毛蟲，"Wher's Mr. Caterpillar?"外，

家長也可以試著問問寶寶有沒有看見主角以外的東西。比如：

"Can you see the ant?"

"How many leaves/ raindrops/ ants do you see?"

"What's behind the leaf?"

"Now, you can flip down the flap/leaf."(你可以打開翻翻頁了)

"Let's us flip the flap together."(一起翻頁吧!)

向上翻是lift (up) the flap

向下翻是flip (down) the flap

翻翻頁的那個蓋子叫flap

 

"It's a caterpillar !"

"What's behind the flower/ petal(花瓣)?"

"How many flowers do you see?" "Can you count(數數看)?"

"Now flip the petal."(下翻花瓣)

 

"It's a bee."

 

What's behind the stone?

Can you see the tentacles(觸角)/stone石頭 /ant螞蟻?

 

Here it is.

What is that on its back? (它背上的是甚麼東西?)

It's a shell.(殼)

 

Can you see the....?

White petal白色花瓣 /  yellow pollen黃色花粉

其實黃色部分應該是stamen雄蕊或pistil雌蕊，

但這兩個字兒幼美不常見，不如說花粉。

 

Ladybird(英式英文)/ladybug(美式英文)

It has red body with black dots.(它有紅底黑斑點的身體)

 

Can you point the snail/ladybird/bee/caterpillar out ?你能指出.....

What's behind the bush(矮叢)?

 

There you are ! You are in the mirror(鏡子).

Smile! (微笑)

這本藍色書面的Where's Mr Owl裏頭尋找的，都是森林常見小動物。

It is a hedgehog with lots of pricks(刺) on its body.
